The Big Data Business Innovation program helps make organizations better at utilizing Big Data for measurable value creation and new business activities.

Requirements & Information

Participation in the program requires that companies take an active role in the program, both from management and key employees who will define and work on their own cases throughout the program.

Module 1 - Data-driven business value creation

Focus on getting started, how to create  strategic value with your big data project and being challenged on your strategy.

  • Big Data Business Modelling - development and strategy

As a part of module 1, you also get access to DTU's High Tech Summit which takes place September 20 - 21 as well as the following dinner party.

Module 2 - Big Data Tool Box

Special focus on the technical aspects of your project. Getting your technical tool-box updated with new theories and models from a Big Data perspective. This module is divided into two parts and primarily directed at data analysts and data scientists within your team.

Module 3 - Business Project Execution

Big Data Advising, and Master Classes


Advising:
Expert project councelling is offered to each participating company (up to 10 hours)
Master Class: Special master classes on project related topics, with reserved seats for participating companies.

    Companies can flexibly compose their team according to module content over the entire program period, in order to secure optimum value-add to projects. 
    Sign-up of participants for each module required at least one week in advance.

    The price includes all program elements: teaching, advising, seats in the master classes and on-site catering at DTU Business.

Background:

  • As part of a Big Data project funded by The Danish Industry Foundation, in 2016, DTU Business and DTU Compute developed the Big Data Business Academy programme with CLEAN, Danish Technological Institute and Alexandra Institute as partners. The BDBI program is based on valuable experience gained from this academy.
